For the current collection CG Workwear has discovered a textile which, due to its skin-friendly characteristics, is predestined for use in professional clothing: Tencel. The range includes chefs’ jackets, tunics and matching trousers. All articles are “Made in Germany”, washable at 95°C and suitable for driers.
Tencel is a natural fibre which, due to its particular structure, can absorb and release 50% more moisture than cotton. Thus the clothing always remains cool and dry and a natural feeling of wellbeing occurs when worn. Furthermore, the fibres’ perfect conveyance of moisture prevents the formation of a water film on the skin where bacteria can form. An additional advantage for sensitive skin: the Tencel fibres have a remarkably smooth surface so there is less friction with the skin and no irritation.
Tencel fabric is therefore perfectly suitable for professional clothing in jobs where things can get really “hot”. The CG Workwear range comprises chefs’ jackets, short-sleeved tunics and matching trousers. The chefs’ jackets Casoria Lady and Riva Man have a classic design, removable black spherical buttons and are available in black or white. A fashionable variation is available with the models Pistoia Lady and Trapani Man. These are slimline and have one row of press studs. A small mandarin collar and piping in contrasting colour are additional details of the elegant and modern look. These chefs’ jackets are also available in classic white or black. More colours come into play for the tunics Foggia Lady and San Severo Man. The ladies’ model is available in nine colours, the men’s in a choice of seven. The design is eye-catching with its many smart details: diagonal lapels with three press studs, concealed placket, contrasting colour piping, pockets in the side seams and no side vent. Especially welcome is the rear pleat at the armhole which is inset with a meshed fabric to ensure extra mobility as well as “ventilation”. Primarily suited to spa, cosmetic and medical environments, but these tunics, with their appealing colours, will also make an excellent impression in housekeeping, at the bar or in front of house.
The matching trousers for ladies and men are very versatile. In addition to the skin-friendly fabric, they also convince from a practical viewpoint. The waist can be adjusted with the press studs. A patch pocket on the leg, a hip pocket and two side pockets offer plenty of storage room.
Not only wear comfort but also durability and ease of care play an important role for professional clothing, which is why CG Workwear has chosen a high quality blend fabric made of 50% Tencel and 50% Polyester for this new collection. Thus it successfully combines the positive characteristics of the natural fibre with excellent durability and ease of care. All models are washable at 95°C and suitable for driers. Industrial laundering and finishing can also be used, so they are ideal for frequent professional washing and finishing cycles.
As for all other articles, CG Workwear insists on “Made in Germany” for this new Tencel range and so ensures short delivery times as well as reliable, first class quality.
